Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)
Shea butter is packed with vitamins and nutrients that are great for the skin. Shea butter works as an emollient that softens and hydrates skin. Because it contains several types of fatty acids — including lineoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids — that improve the skin's natural barrier, shea butter also protects skin from damage from the environment like pollutants.
Shea butter contains anti-inflammatory compounds and help heal inflammatory skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis. Shea butter has an SPF of about 3 or 4 and provides mild sun protection benefits.
Shea butter helps relieve dry skin, eases irritation, prevents cell damage, and contains very high amounts of Vitamins A, & Vitamin E.

Peppermint acts as an astringent that closes pores and tightens the skin. It's cooling and warming sensations make it an effective anesthetic that leaves the skin numb to pain and calms redness and inflammation. It has traditionally been used as a cooling chest rub to relieve congestion, and when diluted with a carrier oil such as Hemp Oil, it can promote the safe and healthy renewal of skin, thus offering relief from skin irritations such as sunburn.
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Diluted with a carrier oil and used topically, Tea Tree Oil’s sudorific properties may help to eliminate internal bodily toxins by promoting perspiration. Known to have anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties, this soothing oil provides relief to minor burns, sores, bites, and cuts by decreasing pain, inhibiting bleeding, eliminating bacteria from the wound, and promoting the closing of scars. Its potential to restore skin complexion and improve the look and feel of blemished skin is also demonstrated with use on the acne-prone skin on which it slows the look of aging with its powerful
antioxidant action. Tea Tree Oil is a powerful antiseptic and helps with eliminating bacteria, viruses, and fungi on the skin.
